Tiverton Four Corners

It's probably pretty clear from posts like this one and this one that I'm quite fond of Rhode Island. I think that may be because Rhode Island shares many attributes with Connecticut, yet it's not Connecticut, so it gives me all the familiar stuff I love already plus just a tad of that excitement you get when you travel someplace new.

Take Tiverton Four Corners. There's nothing about this glorified intersection that couldn't be found in dozens of Connecticut locations too. Cute artsy shops and galleries, ice cream, expensive sandwiches, weathered 18th century buildings - yup, we've got those. But somehow it's different when you have to cross a border (not to mention this bridge) to get there.
