Time for another schoolhouse! That makes it sound like I time them on some sort of schoolhouse schedule; I don't. They just pop up when I happen to find them.
This one is in South Windsor, and it looked particularly pretty and fall-like when I drove by (and turned around, and drove back, and took these pictures while people in cars wondered what the heck, as always.)
Whenever I'm in one of these Hartford County tobacco growing towns and see the old drying sheds, I start hearing Old Crow Medicine Show singing
"Shack #9" in my head.
Except this time I heard it with the lyrics "School #5" instead.
