This is the 1850 Adams School in Easton. It's not exactly a unique one-room schoolhouse (though I have a few of those in an upcoming post, if you're a schoolhouse fan.) I've probably been past it a handful of times before; I even mentioned it when I was right down the road following the tour in this post. This time, however, even though I was going somewhere else and didn't have all the time in the world, I turned around and risked the wrath of Fairfield County drivers to get a better look. For some reason I felt like it was so cute and small, I couldn't just leave it there without checking on it. Probably a sign that I should get a kitten...
